The Foundation for Pennsylvania Watersheds is a grant-making foundation and non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation and protection of the Pennsylvania's water resources.
Founded in 1994, we invest in projects that protect the best and restore the rest of Pennsylvania's streams.
The FPW works closely with local communities, government agencies, and community organizations to identify and address the most pressing issues facing Pennsylvania's watersheds.

WORKING CAPITAL LOAN PROGRAM
The FPW understands the needs for working capital to help with cash flow while waiting for grant reimbursements. Requests for working capital loans should be tied to a specific project and awarded contract. For more information and to set up a preliminary phone call, please reach out to Deb Nardone.
OPERATIONAL SUPPORT GRANTS
The FPW's operational support grant program is intended to support organizations experiencing financial impacts from the federal and state funding changes. Operating grants of up to $5,000 can be used to cover staff time, legal costs, consultant fees, or other general operating costs. We’ll only consider one grant per organization. These grants are not intended to replace federal or state funding or for long-term needs. For more information and to set up a preliminary phone call, please reach out to Maggie Anderson.
FPW has made more than 1,600 grants, providing nearly $16 million in funds
that has leveraged over $190 million in impact.
